Nestled among the lush mountains and flowing waters of northern Guizhou, Zunyi—a revolutionary old base and a crucial ecological barrier in the upper Yangtze River region—has been steadfastly balancing development with conservation. Against the backdrop of proactive climate response and vigorous efforts to achieve carbon peak, Zunyi is committed to exploring a low-carbon path for sustainable urban development.
On August 28, 20 Ankai E70 all-electric buses were delivered in batch to Zunyi Public Transportation (Group) Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as "Zunyi PTG"), marking another significant step in advancing the city's sustainable transport system. These buses are set to enhance both the quality and satisfaction of public travel for local residents.

Zunyi is a vibrant and captivating city. "Red" symbolizes its rich historical legacy, while "green" represents its dynamic modern rhythm.
In recent years, this renowned "red city" has embraced the concept that "lucid waters and lush mountains are invaluable assets," increasing green investments in the transportation sector. As a backbone enterprise in local public transport, Zunyi PTG has consistently adhered to the principles of "ecological priority, green travel, and excellent service." Its efforts are directed toward making the skies bluer, waters clearer, and mountains greener in northern Guizhou, while continuously improving the convenience and satisfaction of residents’ daily commutes.
Zunyi PTG has taken firm strides in building a green transport system, fully implementing the strategy of replacing fuel-powered vehicles with electric ones. The company has transitioned to an all-new energy bus fleet and supported this shift by constructing multiple modern charging stations and smart charging facilities across Zunyi's four urban districts. These efforts have resulted in a comprehensive upgrade of the city's green transport system.
The newly delivered E70 all-electric buses are energy-efficient, environmentally friendly, and boast a sleek, modern design. With spacious interiors, strong operational capacity, and smart features, they meet diverse urban public transport needs. These vehicles will further optimize the local public transport network, provide residents with more travel options, and inject green momentum into Zunyi’s public transportation.
As Zunyi does not yet have a subway system, buses serve as the primary mode of public transport for daily commuting. To better meet the travel demands of residents, Zunyi PTG has long been implementing multiple measures to improve service quality—upgrading hardware, adding stops, and optimizing routes—all aimed at creating a more convenient, safe, and comfortable public transport environment.

A bus is not only a basic unit of urban mobility but also a key representation of a city’s public transport image. As such, it serves as a critical measure of Zunyi PTG’s service quality. The newly delivered E70 buses, though "red-coated," are "green at heart." Equipped with multiple smart configurations and designed with low floors, wide aisles, and short rear overhangs, these buses facilitate quick boarding and alighting while maximizing interior space, further enhancing the passenger experience.
Currently, the Ankai E-series all-electric buses, including the E70, cover a range of lengths from 5.6 to 12 meters, providing a matrix of full-scenario solutions for urban bus systems, including express, trunk, branch, micro, and specialized routes. These vehicles are flexibly suited for various settings—urban and rural, intercity, community, intra-city, tourism, and smart mobility—comprehensively meeting public travel needs at different levels.
Moving forward, Ankai Bus will continue to leverage innovation as an engine, driving breakthroughs in the intelligence, connectivity, and green transformation of public transportation. In partnership with Zunyi PTG, Ankai will embark on a journey to explore the value of carbon neutrality, injecting robust momentum into urban green development and contributing Ankai's expertise to the high-quality advancement of public transport.
